Do you think Waitangi Day falling on a weekend rather than a weekday (public holiday) makes a difference to how people choose to spend it?
State a hypothesis (what you think, yes I think it makes a difference, no I don’t think it makes a difference).
Discuss with your family...what did you do this year vs last year or previous years?
READ for at least 15 mins.
1.No,i do not think it makes a difference because weither its a weekday or a weekend we still spend the day with our family as we do every year.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kate. It does not make a difference whether it is a weekday or weekend because you still get to spend time with your family. However if it was on a weekday it will would mean you could spend even more time with your family :)

ReplyDeleteYes, I think it makes a difference if Waitangi day is a public holiday.People might like to go away for an extra long weekend. If people have a regular routine in the weekend an extra day off would be a good chance to do something that they don't usually do as a family.People would like Waitangi more if it was a public holiday.
ReplyDeletei think it does make a difference because if it falls on a monday or friday people might go away for a long weekend but if it falls on a weekend you wouldn't go away because there would be basically no point on leaving at 5:00 pm on Friday and coming back Sunday night
